My journey has taken me from living in a carnivorous shame spiral, navigating life with an undiagnosed mental illness and attempted suicides, to operating from a place of self-love, peace, and forgiveness. I've learned how to shed the self-imposed shame and
to love myself, shadows and all... you can, too.
Through the practice of Reiki, I discovered the difference between reacting to life and responding to life. I found this difference in the 'space' between the inhale and the exhale. Using Reiki and intentional breathing, I could focus on one day, one moment, one breath at a time.
This 'space between' connected me to the present, and suddenly, change began to happen without realizing it.
The benefits of taking one day at a time have enabled me to make small, ordinary steps, which have led to some extraordinary results in my life. It's my passion to help as many people as possible discover their own 'space between' and to be able to successfully navigate life with a mental illness. To thrive instead of just survive.
We are ALL destined for amazing things, but I know first hand that the body cannot thrive when it is always in survival mode. Change did not happen overnight... but judgment began to fall away slowly day by day. The rules I placed on myself started dissolving, and I gained inner peace. A peace I never knew was possible due to my mental illness. In this place of inner peace, I could rediscover my soul's purpose.
It's not about the how and why, it's about the if and when.
It's about the detemination that you have to live the life you were designed and born to live.
It's about facilitating your own healing, personal growth, and fulfillment whatever that looks like to you.
Change is uncomfortable, breakdowns are scary, (Trust Me) but with every breakdown comes a breakthrough.
Having a life coach is like having a light house always guiding you back to shore when you feel lost on the sea of self discovery and evolution.
If change is what you are looking for know that Change is possible! You have to decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.
Healing is possible! You can change your stars...
I also created a personal journal, 'Just for You,' using some of my favorite 'Just for Today' mantras to help you navigate your own life; whether you struggle with a mental illness or not, I know these principles will help you.
I hope you can begin to dissolve your own judgments, bring your shadows to the light, discover inner peace, and find the courage to take ordinary, day-by-day steps that will lead to your EXTRAordinary life.
You are right where you are supposed to be.
You already possess the power to create a beautiful transformation in your life. I would love to help you channel it.
